Well unless baby p comes in 1 hour and 20 minutes looks like my valentines baby is going to be a March baby.
Thinking about the induction coming up is traumatizing in itself, the fear of uterine rupture terrifies me. Frankly I’d still rather wait to go naturally, even if I’d have to live in the hospital for all the extra monitoring they want to do. I don’t feel ready to have him yet because clearly our bodies aren’t ready to separate yet. I want that to be a decision made by nature and pray it would be as idealized as I need it to be to not be traumatized all over again.
I’m tired of being treated like a ticking time bomb when the rates of still birth are still so low. I cry at least once a day about the trauma I’m already anticipating or have faced already.
I can feel quickening 🥹 I think it’s my favorite part of pregnancy 💗
I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy 3 days ago.
He was a ridiculously huge baby - 97th percentile. 10 pounds 11 ounces. It required a c section. I'm only 5'2. I can't believe I made such a big baby. 🙃
It is an absolutely surreal feeling being in the operating room for a c section. You don't need to be unconscious if you have an epidural. So you essentially are awake as they cut into you but there's a curtain that obstructs your view so you don't have to see it. You don't feel pain but you do feel pressure - the doctors push on your abdomin after they make the incision to make the baby come out. You feel the pressure of this push and it is strange.
The absolute joy I felt when I heard my baby cry when he came out was overwhelming. He's got the cutest face. Some newborns look kinda ugly lol. Some of them come out all discolored with translucent skin and distorted features. A lot of them end up with squished heads because they get squeezed coming out of the vaginal canal. But my baby came out so cute. I'm quite proud of it.
The hospital staff were great for the most part. There was only one doctor I hated. She was just absolutely miserable. Everyone else was really great.
I cant believe I am 6 weeks pregnant today! I know I still have months to go yet but I am beyond happy and excited!
I cant wait until I develop a bump to show you all 😊
Here is what is happening with the baby:
The baby right now is about the size of a pea
The baby has a thin translucent layer of skin around them
They are developing hands and legs as well
The heart has also started to beat and can sometimes be heard through a vaginal ultrasound.
What is occuring with me:
I have been feeling extremely tired and morning sickness has definitely been occuring. I have also been feeling slightly blaoted lately to.
I am hopeing to be able to schedule my first ultrasound/scan for sometime next week but we will see what occurs that way.
I hope you all are having a great day 🥰
dude being pregnant fucking SUCKS. LITERALLY SUCKS FUCK ANYONE WHO LIKES THIS SHIT !!!
Y'all.... in just over 3 months, I will be a mummy! Can you believe it?? It's wild to me that I will have an actual human being that came out of me.
