⁽ ⁵ ⁾ REGARDING HOWL + HIS CHARACTERISATION. howl in his source content, being the film adaptation and the original 1980s novel, is a womaniser and incredibly vain. where he is flirtatious, please don't take this as me trying to force - ship! things will always be discussed but he is an incredibly vapid and flirty character and so in his nature many of his interactions may be subject to this behaviour. howl is also an avid fan of social justice, and though he is vain and self - centred he is at his core, good. he undercharges his poorer customers and overcharges the richer. he will extend his hand to those in need, but he also frequently runs from conflict, love and responsibility.
