I will never forget the moment in 2017 with Niall's first show in Dublin, when we first heard the songs from the album. When the opening chords of the Tide happened and I heard the 'oh no!' I think my soul left my body. It all felt really intense and I actually feel kind of emotional right now writing this. I'll never forget it.

oh my god i KNOW?? i remember all of that buildup to that day and how there was SO MUCH anticipation wondering what he was going to sing, what the show was going to be like, how he was gonna do with a full solo show all on his own for the very first time. then as it got closer and we started getting those little clips through the door during soundcheck and i was fucking DYING waiting for it to start. but then it finally did, and i honestly don’t remember a TON from that hour+, but i remember the shitty streams and trying to find a good one that would stay stable during and all the emo posts and how it felt like such a collective experience that we were all getting to have together. and i think it didn’t really totally set in for me, at least music-wise, until i got the chance to watch recordings obsessively on youtube for days after that?? the songs, the lyrics, the lighting and staging, the band. everything about it was PERFECT???
