Today I slept in. I didn’t mean to, perhaps, but I did. Since my training doesn’t start until Saturday, I have today and the next two days completely free, something that hasn’t happened to me in months and probably won’t happen again until sometime next summer.
I joined the AMC Stubs Premiere Program, because I always talk about doing it, but I’ve never actually done it, but given the amount of movies I’ve seen in the last two weeks alone and the number I plan to see in the coming months, I guess I thought maybe it was time. I don’t know, but if it doesn’t end up being worth it, it’s only a year and then I can decide again.
The U finally sent out a list of books for all my online classes (which they said in the last email would be out by August 1st). I read Midsummer Night’s Dream and I intend to still read As You Like It before I got to bed tonight. I finally caught up on the most recent season of Teen Wolf and that show is still absolute trash. But there’s only one season left and I intend to see it through to the end.
I also got an email from Housing saying that we’ll be getting another roommate on Monday, so if all goes well, our apartment should finally be completely full again.
I tried to make pizza rolls in the microwave and I was not good at it. I may just go back to using the oven next time. (oh well)
I’m not sure how I’m feeling about working and taking classes now that I’m here, but I don’t think it will be impossible. Especially if I can maintain a positive attitude the entire semester.
My roommates are super nice and they’re clean, so I hope I can live up to their cleanliness standards, but, if I can, I think this semester will be very fun indeed (I have high hopes that my low amount of stuff will be very helpful in regards to the cleanliness issue).
