I had my second day of training and got to learn how to bus tables. My trainer today was named Elizabeth, which was fun, and she was super cool. I got to try out bussing in all three rooms, so I got a better feel for the flow of each room and which walkways were for going which way, and which entry to use to get back into the kitchen to dump dishes and trash when the cart got full.

I liked bussing in the West Wing best, but it’s basically dark in that room, and at one point when I was sweeping I couldn’t tell if I was sweeping up spots of light or crumbs (it was about 50/50 of each). 

I met a few more people who are also CP’s and they’re super cool and from all over the world. I’m excited to work at BOG. I think it’s going to be really fun.

One of my coworkers drove me home and most of my roommates were already home. Three of us went out grocery shopping at Walmart and walked all over and decided that we’re going to try to bake each week while we’re here, and then we ran into another of our roommates as we were waiting for the bus.

I finally watched the Stanford Prison Experiment, and it was good, but wholly unfulfilling and inconclusive. There was a lot that happened that was left unexplained, as the experiment was ended prematurely and never completely wrapped up. :(

So grateful that this job opportunity sort of simply fell into my lap.
