Jesus did not reject the sinful woman’s ministration of anointing his feet with fragrant oil. But it did not go well with the Jews around Him. The woman realized she could come to Jesus and be made whole. She risked public rejection by entering the Pharisee’s home uninvited to get close to Jesus. Jesus showcased the woman’s humble demonstration of repentance, her faith and great love. In his grace, he restored her social status by publicly announcing that she was forgiven. In this era of equality and modernization, women often forget to humble themselves before God. This women's day let's remember that humility is also an important virtue of us. Let's be humble in all what we achieve and give glory to God alone.
