There are seriously just some complete assholes on ZMR. Like, don’t even get me started on the racist bullshit Americans say to the non-American players.
And I understand being invested in a game cos I myself have been invested in SO many games, but at the end of the day, it is still a GAME. What happens within that game’s universe is not something that comes out into the real world. It’s nice and great to be very proud of the achievements you’ve made within a game, but never forget it’s still just a game.
I play ZMR cos I like it despite all the bullshit I see and despite the bullshit that has been said to me. I still play cos I find it fun to play. Even though the lag is terrible and hackers and just there is so much wrong with ZMR, yet I still play.
But when people bitch and whine cos “oh, you’re dying a lot and you haven’t killed a single person since you joined wah wah wah wah I’m a baby,” it gets really annoying.
Had some asshole bitch at me cos I kept dying and literally hadn’t killed anyone since joining the Monsters vs Mercs game that was going on. And like I’ve said many times, I’m not a pro at ZMR. I’ve gotten better yeah, but I still don’t think of myself as anyone really good.
And usually when I play Mercs vs Monsters, whatever the FUCK it’s called, I manage to kill quite a few people in the end despite starting off slow and maybe die just as much. Also, when I joined, the other team was pretty much camping our spawn base and the monster that throws goo kept hitting me as hard as I fucking tried to dodge and not die.
One guy, as a joke, I think, told me I should try to stop dying and I told him I was trying, but he wasn’t an asshole about it. Cos he was like, “I understand.” But that other guy who kept crying about my lack of kills and how many times I’d died was the real asshole about it.
Oh, and heaven forbid you ever say the words “It’s just a game” in a game, people lose their shit! It’s kinda funny actually, but like it doesn’t take away the fact that yes, it is just a game. What we are playing is a game indeed. Even the other guy sorta stood up for me telling the jerkhole to calm down cos it was just a game.
It’s always dudes too. Guys are just assholes in general, but put them in a competitive atmosphere in a game like ZMR and they just up that asshole by 100% cos some of them obviously don’t know how to take a loss if they lose.
But I’m ngl. I’ve been in positions and in games where losing has pissed me off and I’ve wanted to bitch and whine about it, but guess what?? I DON’T FUCKING DO IT COS I’M NOT AN ASSHOLE! I bitch and whine here. lol I’m not an asshole going around calling people noobs cos everyone’s supposed to automatically be a pro at every goddamn fucking game they play! Or spewing bullshittery about how non-English speakers’ English is awful cos “HERPA DERP EVERY LANGUAGE OUT THERE IN THE WORLD IS ENGLISH AND EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW IT!”

I was legit in a good mood when I started playing ZMR but after that asshole and his comments, my mood went down even after I tried playing a few other games after that one.
Like, seriously. Why can’t people just keep their shit to themselves??
Had this one other guy tell this other guy, we’ll call him G and C. Not respectively.
I had joined a game of Capture the Flag after my Mercs vs Monsters game, and C had told G (both were on my team) that his English was bad cos G had mentioned something about his ping being bad. It’s something people complain about a lot, which is understandable, I suppose. It affects me none so I’m really meh about it. lol
And C decided to go that asshole route by attacking G’s English. G mentioned that his first language wasn’t English; it was Spanish. So C went on some rant about how non-Americans shouldn’t complain about their ping when they’re in the NA server and not their proper server blah blah blah. That was said after I’d said that not everyone speaks English. Then I told C that he should’ve just said that instead of attacking G’s English. And he goes, “I can attack whatever I want.” To which I said, “Very American, right?” And he didn’t say anything after that.
But like, it really is kinda shitty to attack someone’s English. Especially when it’s not even their first language. Attacking someone’s English when they’re still learning it or aren’t very good is a very discouraging thing to do and it sometimes makes people not wanna speak it in public again. But at least they fucking know more than one language than most Americans or people who always attack it. Like, bitch, I’m sorry?? Do you know any other language other than English? God, I swear they’d tell you they wouldn’t need to learn any other language cos English is the most superior. Oh, I’m seriously not doubting responses like that tbh.
Ugh. Whatever. Typing this all out has helped me calm down a bit. Sometimes I wanna quit ZMR but I hate that I like it so much.
