As clear as a dark cloud is, 

I remember the day when I met you,

you brought sunshine to the world,

a world that is nearly withering.

Inch by inch you crawled,

from the outside of the window,

to the front door of my heart. 

you bleed out words that i never thought of hearing,

Words that were forgotten from the deepest part of me.

Through your persistence doors unlocked,

slowly my heart opens up,

to the possibility that maybe 'you and me' can be 'we'.
