Thoughts 1

I miss the way things used to be.

As I learn, grow, and change I lose some parts of who I used to be. Sometimes I miss who I used to be. 

If I am completely okay with being my by myself, doing my own thing; If I don’t feel FOMO, or the need to hang out with people all the time, does that mean I’ve grown up? Or am I just being too independent/self-sufficient? 

Give me a heart for Your people.

Song of the Day

It rained this morning on my end so, I’m happy. Ok, for today I want to share a song that I listen to when I’m bummed. I’m actually saddened by the fact that there are now over 200+ deaths in Mexico && people are still scrambling to beat the odds && find more victims under the debris. Also, there are still many locations that haven’t received any government help as of yet. The areas that have been affected are in the hundreds && most of the help right now is coming from volunteers. I send them all my love && warmth && I urge people to donate. I have donated what I can && I hope in some measure it helps Mexico.

The following song was written by Juan Gabriel, whom I’ve shared with you, && the singer is Ana Gabriel. She has a distinctive voice && it took me a long while to warm up to her. I really hadn’t listened to her && when I did I realized why she attracts so many fans. When she sings, you can hear the passion in her voice && if the song is one of heartbreak or sorrow, you can definitely feel the pain in her voice. The song is called “Luna” or Moon.
