back to class
Today's my 21st birthday, and my first day back to classes (since yesterday's classes were canceled due to "potential ice" 🙄).
I am so excited for classes! (honestly the best birthday gift anyone can give me is going back to classes). I have vector calc at 9:30, physics 2 at 11, modern algebra 2 at 1, a calc 2 SI session I'm leading at 2:50, and applied combinatorics at 4.

aren't books incredible? entire worlds created that we spend our childhoods in and still return to when we need a familiar comfort. even when our physical homes, our creations of brick and families by blood are shaking or crumbling, these alternate universes remain safe, steady, unchanging. holding out a warm hand from the musty flick of pages, whispering from inky, solid words: we will always be here to welcome you home.
A year ago tonight my whole life made this gigantic flip. What we were told that night has changed the way I've been living my whole life. It's been a hard year, but I'm glad I have him by my side. He was the only person I wanted to talk to that night. Hopefully this year is better than last year. Maybe not. I don't know anymore.

I don't know what made you think I was, but I'm not a stoner. I only get high under certain conditions: if I'm stressed, trying to get fucked up, or with people I'm comfortable.
