10 things to do when you feel like quitting
There are a lot of times you’ll feel like quitting. It might be after a huge victory or before an enormous challenge. Maybe progress is slow or the goal is out of sight. Quitting is most tempting when pushing through matters most.
1. Think of someone who didn’t quit. It can be someone you know or someone that aspires you.
2. Believe in your ability to learn, grow and adapt.
3. Reflect on behaviours that aren’t serving you well. Quit what’s slowing you down and focus on what’s keeping you up.
4.Repeat behaviours that gives you energy.
5. Have a larger and further visions. Think weeks not days, months not weeks, years not months.
6. Keep big goals in the back of your mind and next imperfect steps in the front of your mind.
7. Think little about how far you’ve come and more about what’s next.
8. Focus more on process and less on results. As the saying goes, it’s not about the happy ending, it’s about the story.
9. Remember the quitters you’ve known and what did they achieve.
10. Take a break, have some fun.
