I’m learning to fall in love with the good things again

Like friends together

Without thinking about you

But I don’t know how to express

my happiness in poetry anymore

I can’t pull the words from my head

Or describe how it makes me feel to have laughing fits

Or be surprised when a friend playfully pokes me

I can’t describe the joy I feel

Having someone that actually misses me

when I didn’t show up

Or am invited to late night Macca runs

And cheer someone up

I can’t tell you how thankful I am

That I’m healing

I’m trying to be the best support I can

If they let me

And they don’t replace you

You can’t be replaced..

I hope your well

and fall in love with the little things as well
