I just...love you so much...like so much with all of my heart with all of me. I love you and want to be with you and I want to grow with you...but I'm afraid I don't know if you love me...the way you've been talking lately scares me....I don't want you to break up with me....
JOURNAL
Seeing as I’m in the looney bin biz now because I’m considering this shoe box of a measly, not my mansion square feet, nice, it’s about high time I admitted something: I’m really enjoying my time here despite the lack of lackies to attend Snixx-slay-matics classes when I’m feeling particular insecure and wanna ‘round out my suckage onto other people. Anyways, speaking of channeling my inner Quinn Fabray, I’m feeling...
[there’s a brief pause, that elongates into a few moments of silence until she reminds herself she’s allowed to be vulnerable with Rizzoli - if anything]
....insecure. Pops is pissed at me, mamma is pissed at me, my ‘friends’ aren’t talking to me, and I’m not sure if Sam like, likes me. And the last one kinda bothers me most of all. He’s an idiot, but kind of a cute idiot. Like really cute idiot, who I want to sit on and side-eye constantly.
God, I feel gross, like Bloated Jones Diary or something. I hate this, I hate......whatever, I’m out. I’m going to spend a couple hours getting myself ready to look like I didn’t get ready and cook some dinner for Sam.

Birth of a Nation - DONT SLEEP Discussion Series
DONT SLEEP will be hosting two panel discussions at 1:00pm and 5:00pm respectively to discuss the issues and concerns regarding the movie "Birth of a Nation" Panel 1: discussing the historical narrative of Nat Turner and his importance to African American history and the biblical implications of a Christian preacher leading a slave revolt. and Panel 2: discussing the present issues surrounding toxic masculinity and rape culture with not only Nate Parker at the center but more importantly the recent article by Gabrielle Union whom is a real life survivor whom plays a woman whom is victimized in the film. Both panel discussions will be followed with a viewing of the film in its entirety. Each panel will be constructed in such a way as to produce as diverse an array of perspectives as possible with a mixture of new and established faces from the community in the form of activists, practitioners, preachers and educators.
