now THAT is what I’m talking about!
Cancel the missing persons report...the Chicago Blackhawks have been found and everything is good. OMG tonight’s game was INSANE!!! That was a VERY intense game!! I will admit I was worried when it was a one goal game!! The thing I love is we NEVER lost the lead!! NOT once!! Yes they got within one goal but we never officially lost the lead AT ALL!! That is GREAT progress!!
OMG I am SO happy for Panik!! He looked SOOO happy!!! Seeing him smile makes me smile!! I love the fact that Kaner was the one to get that puck to him to get him the hatty!! LOVE HIM!!!
Tonight’s game was SOOOO much better than the first two games!! Our defense I thought was VERY good!! They were all over the Preds when they had the puck!! Wouldn’t let much get in.
We managed to STAY OUT OF THE BOX!!!! (for the most part). Our PK was a little better...yes we still gave up that goal...but I think we had a few kills that we actually managed to kill off.
I am so happy for Schmaltz too!! Getting his first NHL goal! I love all the rookies chipping in and getting comfortable with the system and stuff. Now all I want is for Motte to get a goal! He’s got a couple of assists but now I want him to light the lamp officially. Same thing with Forsling, which by the way I’m VERY impressed with. The kid is 20 years old and you would think he’d been playing pro for years!! He’s so comfortable out there.
I also am loving Kempny too!! He’s another one that looks like he has been playing with the Hawks forever. He’s not afraid to hit someone, or go in deep to retrieve a puck. I would love to see him score as well.
I thought Hossa got his 500th tonight...but it was just a flash of what we’ll get when he actually does hit it. It will come...he’s definitely had chances...no doubt about that.
I’m SO ready for the next game!! Its nice to be HYPED about the way a game ended. I hope they continue playing like this. I thought we had a really good game all around tonight.
I really want to let him go. In the beginning, it felt so easy to get his attention and feel good about myself through a little reward system. Like if he smiled at me, my heart would beat 4 times more or if we talked, then afterwards I would think about it for hours. Now it seems like it hurts to see him and listen to him or even share things with him. I kind of want to cut it off, but will I regret it later ?
Absent days are content days I guess. nothing happening except sleep and watching dexter, working... yeah. might go to California this week but I dunno yet. we will see.
