Snatch: 2x(40, 44, 47), 50, 53, 56, 60
Clean and Jerk: (2+1)x(50, 56), (1+1)x(64, 68, 72, 75)
Squat: 3x90, 2x3x96, 2x3x102x
No core or conditioning because failed squats made me sad.
Today I noticed that when I don't have a mirror, my feet don't turn excessively outward on my snatches. I think Diane Fu would say that this is because you go where you look. For whatever reason, not looking at myself in the mirror means that I go in the right direction, or something. Anyway, 60 felt lighter than usual and my pull was just great.
However, for the first time in as long as I can remember, I didn't make my programmed numbers. 96 felt light, but when I went up to 102, I failed on the second rep three times in a row. I called it after that. Though I'm disappointed, I think that maybe this had to do with the fact that I trained five days in a row again (that's got to stop). Also, I've had four weeks of great squatting, so I'm due for some struggle. That's the way she goes.
Good news: I made a lifter friend named Ben! He's a bit of a lunk, but he cleaned the weight for me when I dropped it after my squats and he was very friendly when shared a rack, so that's great.
