Today we stumbled across newly- opened 100 Hoxton and popped in for a fantastic brunch. It was only a matter of time until a stripped-back, trendy coffee spot made its way onto Hoxton Street and hopefully it’s the start of a trend.

The veggie breakie was by far the best we’d sampled in Islington - complete with spring onion latka, perfectly poached eggs, avocado salsa and a fresh salad with a real chilli and garlic kick. A huge fresh orange juice quenched my thirst nicely, and was a reasonable £3.

I loved the layout of the place - the bar is right in the middle of the open-plan space at a jaunty angle and gorgeous velvet chairs line the perimeter of the room. The tables had a touch of Mondrian about them - red, yellow and black geometric patterns adorned their tops.

I recommend trying 100 Hoxton out whilst it’s still burgeoning as I think this place will be rammed by the time summer comes around! They also have an impressive cocktail list so we’re looking forward to going back one evening to try those out soon…strictly for blogging purposes, naturally.
