CRUISING IN CARS EPISODE #7
We have been cruising the streets looking for more and more interesting owners and their cars. This week was super interesting. We caught up with Antonio Calvo, a car enthusiast I met many years ago when he was a fabricator at an Austin Supra shop called Boost Logic (we are hoping to catch up with them soon).
As you will hear in the video Antonio’s adventures actually started in New York and New Jersey where he grew up with a family of automotive enthusiasts.
His journey has led him to his current car a 2014 SRT Viper. Antonio’s has some light mods... Ok it has some serious mods! It makes over 1000whp on pump gas and 1200whp on race gas. While filming this cruising in cars episode, the car accelerated so hard my headphones flew off my head while monitoring the audio in the car.
Antonio’s passion for building high-horsepower cars is sincere. Seeing him take his passion and develop a whole company around it is inspiring for many. I was able to bring a student of mine along for the shoot and he was definitely wowed. And that is what is so cool about cars, people find inspiration on so many levels through them.
