Day 12 of 1001 to learn to art, and I decided to get some help with a class on skillshare. It was pretty fun to do, and I kinda love the little shocked guy 😂

Day 12 of 1001 to learn to art, and I decided to get some help with a class on skillshare. It was pretty fun to do, and I kinda love the little shocked guy 😂
Day 11 of 1001 of learning to art, and I have to say, I’m not unhappy with that cylinder and with that second sketch! Progress!
Day 10 of 1001 of learning to art.
I’m practicing form and structure, as well as anatomy. I’m using pictures from my fav show to practice face anatomy, and making notes and observations on how I did afterwards.
I’m quite proud of my sphere though…
Days 7 and 8 of 1001!
I’m not terribly happy (I didn’t even want to share) because I feel like I can see what I’m doing wrong, but I can’t make it look right. But I keep reminding myself that I am LEARNING to art right now. I’m not an expert and I’m working on it
Day 6 of 1001 of learning to art — I’m still practicing the Loomis method of drawing faces. I don’t know how they still look cartoony, but I think that’s just gonna be how I draw 😅
On day 5 of 1001 to artist, I decided to try the loomis method for drawing heads. I feel like I don’t quite have it right just yet But that’s why I’m practicing, right?
Yay! Back to practicing faces and expressions. It was a shorter day, my 4th day of 1001 to artist, but I still feel like I’m making some progress
Day 3 of 1001 of my 1001 day to artist journey! I’ve decided that I want to split up my art practice into “semester” type things, where I’ll focus on a specific skill and/or medium. This semester is all about sketching and people basics, practicing observation and translating that into sketches.
