Lohen has never cared much for music.
Like most other things in his life, it just simply never interested him. Sure, he didn't mind listening to a passing minstrel in the streets of the city— and sure, he'd sing along with his drunken comrades around a bonfire on a few occasions for fun— but that was where his interest usually stopped. Lohen had long since decided that his time was best spent honing his skills with weapons, and cleaving through a camp of hilichurls was far more entertaining than sitting and reading sheet music.
Yet somehow, you had a funny way of making Lohen question every belief he holds so near to his heart.
His hands feel somehow clumsy as they follow the movements of your own, your fingers guiding his own carefully across the weighted ivory keys. Each press chimes like a twinkling star, delicate and soft in all the ways that Lohen is most certainly not. He'd complain about feeling out of place if this weren't granting him a golden opportunity to be pressed right against your side, the sweetness of your perfume invading his senses until his entire existence is centered on you alone.
"This is boring you, isn't it?"
Your voice seems to blend into the music effortlessly, somehow even lovelier than the song that you're guiding him to play. Lohen nudges against your side affectionately, following the string of notes you had left ringing in your wake with ease.
"Nah, 'Course not. I don't think you could bore me if you tried."
If you have such interest in it, perhaps Lohen could care about music after all.
Or... perhaps he just cares so much about you that these previously boring little things suddenly didn't seem so lifeless.
