modeling gig 005 + @lgcjaehwa
insoo was a litte... ok, kinda, sorta very nervous. although it wasn’t his first modeling gig, he knew he was severly lacking when it came to posing in front of the camera. fortunately, he had been given plenty of time to rehearse before the date of the gig arrived, and insoo was seventy-five percent sure he was ready to step in front of the camera and charm the wits out of the photographer and assistants alike.
he expected a full crew, of course; he expected a room full of bustling people and make up artists fussing over his hair, his clothes, and the concept they had desired him to play. what he didn’t expect, however, was that he’d end up sharing the spotlight with none other than jaehwa.
“I... didn’t expect you to be here.” he said out loud, aware his childish discontent was painted on his features perfectly well. in similar fashion, he was conscious of his demeanor; cognizant of the fact that the only reason he resented her was the fact she vyed for a certain friend’s attentions (and more specifically, food) as much as he did. in spite of knowing this, he had not stopped the capricious, gnawing seed of insecurity sprout into a vine of resentment that he knew was unfair to be directed to the source. and so, he blamed someone else.
insoo eyed the bowl of sweets between them rather than meeting her gaze, reaching for one. “how have you been?” he asked in spite himself, obliged to get along with a friend of his friend.
