Conductive wool and thread
This week we tried out different conductive materials.
I was exploring with conductive wool and thread.
I embed the LED into wool and connected them with conductive thread.

BLume - process#02
SMA Test
The SMA I use : Flexinol Wire 0.010" LT / data sheet
The main point of the test have been aim at the whole configuration of my lighting unit design:
Tilt Switch
Tilt Switch actually just work as a simple switch to make open and closed circuit.
DIY Magnetic Motor
Lets see how it works.
There are still couple problems I haven't figured out. The motor I have done now still couldn't turn very well, somehow it could be the problem of the structure design or the number of laps of the spiral is not enough..... So the next step would be redesign the whole construction. The copper thread seems like not strong enough.. after turning for a while it broke. So which tells us there are also some problems of soldering and material... Ooops !

Breathing Light - Modular Lighting Unit
Motivation
Thinking about the responsive surface of the object and its function, base on my own perspective I think the function should work more directly connected with the surface materials.
Luminous Textile
Light could be flexible and haptic. Integrate electronic into soft materials to bring a new configuration of the object and new perception for users.
Arduino and Sensor 2
Following the last post, we had the concept about the difference between digital and analog sensor. Now here we have more trails for different resistive analog sensors and output device.
