There is something in the flood.

I don't know what it is, or where it came from, I don't know how long it's been with us, but it's there. Right there, in those horrible murky waters.

When the dam broke none of us knew what was going to happen. We didn't have enough time to prepare from the moment the cracks started forming - everything burst through at once. I've never seen anything like that before. It was as if there was some giant beast forcing its way through the dam wall, and now here we are.

The waters are going to be here soon. I've been watching the news. Every wave looks like the maw of a beast, fearsome, carrying debris that look eerily like teeth.
