What: Adopts
Explain: I am super duper pleased with my fluffy tundra adopt. The prices here are very reasonable and the author is easy and fun to work with. She even spent the time to accommodate a special request of mine(for an extra 5k she adjusted the shading which to me adds fluff).
The only negative things I could comment on are she got my eye color wrong. However I should have corrected her when she previewed my dragon with iridescent. So I take fault for that.
It was also a little hard to find my pick-up under the favorites but I was tired so it’s probably not as bad.
All in all in all I highly recommend this artist and am looking forward for more breeds!!
Lore Questions from TackySnaps
What is your clan’s stance on beastclans? Neutral, openly hostile, seeking peace?
Neutral for the most part unless Beastclans attack while gathering food for the clan (ie: in the coliseum). This makes the coli queens (Violet, Pruthrya, and Niya) always suspicious of beastclans, though due to Wyrillen's presence they respect the peaceful ones that have been accepted into the clan without bothering them ("so long as they don't cause trouble like they're apt to, the mangy beasts" ~Pruthrya).
Has your clan’s leadership passed from one dragon to another, ever? What is the process for a change in leadership?
The clan has always been led by the same individuals, though if a particular dragon shows him or herself to be good at leading or taking care of problems (the coli queens, Burner with keeping a watch on the cultist Plague dragons, etc) then they will be added to the general group of leaders.
If your clan is involved in trade, what does it primarily export?Import? If it is not involved in trade, why?
Honestly if we trade anything, it would be (non-official-apparel) tundra fur blankets and such (or at least tundra-induced fur via Jacaranda). Otherwise generalistic trade wouldn't be a thing for the most part, outside of rehoming hatchlings (which may or may not be purposeful nests)
Who trains young dragons to fight in your clan? Are they trained as hunters or warriors? Both?
The coli queens drag young exaltees with them through the Mire and Harpy's Roost, but for the dragons that are learning how to fight (leveling up) that are permanent? If the coli queens as a group are busy for whatever reason...it would probably be Brayan or Burner, depending on the size of the dragon. Faes would be taught by Almeyda. If the coli queens were leveling exalts or otherwise not busy then Niya (plague mirror) would probably stay behind and guide them through the Training Fields and Woodland Path and such, though she wouldn't participate in the battles so they actually gain experience.
If your clan has coatls, how do they handle the language barrier? Have the coatl learned common draconic?
Enakai and Ivy have learned how to communicate through general body language, along with Ivy's own unique clacking (Jacaranda turned her into a plant accidentally-on-purpose and Wyrillen/Brayan only forgave him because she didn't seem to mind, Enakai will occasionally go wintry as well as her plantiness, and they figured out communication fairly decently).
Qizon and his pirate crew all know coatl because it tends to be more unknown, though they prefer to speak in their own custom sign language that they put together, save for Null who is still kinda squawky due to originally being a Skydancer and has lost a lot of the articulation in her fingers due to being much more fluffy than she ever was. Qizon does know draconic, though he speaks it in an incredibly stilted accent because he refuses to learn more than he has to.
Which dragon is most likely to get the entire clan into trouble?
Some might think Static, but actually the one most likely to cause trouble for the ENTIRE clan would be Crorbid
Considering that he's a bit of a cultist for the Plaguemother, he's considered as extreme even by other Plague dragons. If he wasn't so small compared to her, he would almost definitely free Static from her prison if he knew he wouldn't die as a result. Static getting free would be the worst thing.
Which dragon is the most diplomatic?
In terms of being able to communicate well with other clans, Almeyda would probably take that title.
However, sometimes she needs help and so she'll ask Shodo for his help (especially if a clan needs more...violent persuading to listen)
They're probably the clan's best diplomats.
What’s the junk food of choice for your clan? Do they have a sweet tooth?
Berries of all sorts most likely, due to the large proportion of plant eaters. Individual dragons might? but in general the clan doesn't have much of a sweet tooth outside of naturally sugary things.
If your dragons wear armor into combat, was it made by a dragon in the clan, or imported?
Found or imported I would say, with exception to Pruthrya's armor, which she made custom for herself using found bits here and there.
Does your clan have clan colors? What are they?
I'd say the purple-blue range and the monochrome range mainly. Especially royal/silver
