Man wird verschlossener, zieht sich zurück. Man fängt an, nichts mehr zu sagen, sich nur noch neben jemanden zu stellen oder nebenher zu laufen. Man passt sich an und will nur noch alleine sein. Man gewöhnt sich ein Lächeln an, dass nicht echt ist, wird emotionsloser, abweisender. Man wird unauffällig und wird nicht mehr wahrgenommen. Man verschwindet langsam, bis man einfach nicht mehr da ist.
