Wishes on the Birth Anniversary Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS) Ali al-Akbar ibne Hussain or simply "Ali Akbar," was the son of Imam Hussain (AS), the third Imam, and Umme Layla. He was killed in the Tragedy of Karbala. According to Jean Calmard writing in Iranica, ‘Ali al-Akbar's reputation as a valiant warrior of the Household of Muhammad might have preceded that of Al-‘Abbas ibn ‘Ali.
