liz nation it brings me great joy to announce that the first draft of my paper on rosemary kennedy is officially DONE!!!

A comic I made for a fanzine with friends a moment ago. Theme was "atelier". I made a Frankensteinish comic about a girl bringing back her (girl?)friend to death. I'm to lazy to translate it so it will be in french sorry. I hope it can be understood with drawings only :' )

So. What if by going into tio Bruno's room Mirabel finds herself in a desert dreamscape where she meets her seer uncle with the forbidden name?

And what if she keeps on escaping into those dreams just to see him again?

Because despite hearing all the ominous things about him and his room it's the safest place she knows.

Where she can be herself.

She can breathe.

She is free.

With him.

And she is seen.

Because when he looks at her, it's like his gaze holds her whole. And only her.

Despite being more like a myth to the Encanto, she feels closest to Bruno than she ever felt to anyone else.

(Also what if Bruno's gift is much more powerful and he's way more accepting of the flow of events in time? Ergo he also knows where his relationship with Mirabel leads to and knows there is no reason to fight it?)

honestly who came up with essays/research papers?? like ah hey, so i'm gonna tell you all this stuff then you're gonna read about this stuff and it'll kinda help but THEN, and oh boy this is the fun part, you get to write ME a little book of your own that is coherent and applies everything i taught you plus some stuff i want you to sprinkle in for that extra umph but we never discussed even once!
