Today was honestly one of the best days I've had in a while. Kevin and I surprised Lindsay at her last rally as commissioner. It was amazing being able to be there for her on this special day. But what made it even more special was being able to see everyone again. I can't say I missed going back to high school, but what I can say is that I truly missed my leadership family. Seeing the smile on their faces as they saw us, the hugs and the tears that emerged from some of their eyes made me realize the huge impact that you can have on a person. It made me realize that I have formed memories that will forever remain in the hearts of other people.
You can lose contact with a person, but the memories you create with them will always remain and will never be forgotten.
Today was seriously one of the best days.
about what happened today...
I just wanted to send a prayer out to the families who lost a child today. they did not deserve to die in such a way. It wasn't fair that the most vulnerable group in our society, the children, had to have been targeted. They were little kids, ones who haven't even had the chance to live out their lives. My mom just got home, and hugged me really tight. She told me that she had been crying the whole day just thinking about me and my sister, hoping that we were safe.
i think that this day could be considered almost as big as 9-11. I know not as many people died, but this event is definitely going to bring some change to this country...
Those kids will stay in my heart throughout this holiday season.
Birthday ko nga, Happy ba?
Andameng may kaarawan ngayon, lahat sila astig! Haha ako lang naman ang hinde. Tss.
At wala nga talaga. Hahahaha!
