I SHOULDNT HAVE TO DEFEND MYSELF FROM A COWORKER.
WORK IS SUPPOSED TO BE A SAFE ENVIRONMENT.
I WANT YOU TO FIRE HIM. HE’S BEEN HERE FOR AT LEAST 2 MONTHS AND HE MESSES UP SO MANY ORDERS EVERY TIME I WORK WITH HIM… NO, I DONT DO THE SAME TASKS HE WAS HIRED TO DO, BUT I DONT MESS UP SO MANY ORDERS EVERY SINGLE TIME. I CAN ACTUALLY FOLLOW UP ON THE SCREEN OF WHOSE ORDER IS NEXT, EVEN IF I BUMP IT UP. “DON’T DO THAT. IT CONFUSES HIM. YOU CAUSE PROBLEMS THAT WAY.” —my old boss ….. EXCUSE ME?! YOU COULDNT HAVE JUST SAID **IT** CAUSES PROBLEMS??? PLUS, HOW CAN **YOU, THE GENERAL MANAGER** & HIM NOT FOLLOW UP ON THAT WHEN THE OTHER COOKS AND MANAGER THAT I USUALLY WORK WITH **CAN!!?!!** DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY ORDERS WE WERE BEHIND ON??!
IM A BITCH, YES, BUT IM NOT TRYING TO BE A COCKY ONE. IN ALL HONESTY, THE OTHER MANAGER KNOWS IM ONE OF THE BETTER CASHIERS THAN 3/4 OF THE OTHERS… There’s one that’s better than me, and y’all know that too. BUT YOU KNOW THAT BY THE QUESTIONS SOME OF THE OTHER CASHIERS ASK, THAT THEY SHOULD KNOW THIS STUFF….. “No one ever taught me.” Well, I guess I was either lucky or you didn’t ask all the questions you should’ve when you started.
FIRE HIM. THEN LET ME RESIGN BECAUSE HES GONNA HOLD A GRUDGE WHEN FOR IF I HAVE TO FILE A CLAIM & HIM KNOWING WHERE I WORK. THAT’S NOT SAFE FOR ME. I wouldn’t feel safe working at a place where I know I got someone fired, even if I prevented them from harassing another coworker.
