On December 30th we went to part of the Colonial zone with my cousin (she's really my cousin's ex wife but we've been through much together so she's family now) and her 2 grandchildren. First 3 pictures was in front of the Alcázar de Colon, Christopher Columbus's brother, Bartolomé Colon's palace. Please note that I would had taken a picture of the whole building but since I didn't take the picture, it just didn't happen. Pictured on the bottom to the left, buying ice cream from The heladero for the kids. Center in front of Christopher Columbus's statue at Plaza Colon. I chopped the top of his head. It was really tough to see with the sun. I was also paranoid about taking pictures with my cell phone as anyone can come by at any time and snatch the phone from my hand. I should had taken my camera. I hate to look like a tourist though. We took the last picture to send it to my son michael who loves Dennys. They have one. We don't have one in my town.
