Les presento a Carl ^^ un heladero que juntos con sus ayudantes Iglú y Ice cream logran sacarle una sonrisa a los niños y adultos dándoles helados y alegrando sus días

Helado, bueno, helada quedé.

Hoy estaba comprando helado junto a mi prima pequeña, había un chico joven sirviendo los helados que pedía la gente, frente a nosotras había una mujer.

- Sólo puede pedir un sabor. -dijo el joven nervioso.

- SI SÉ, SI ESO TE ESTOY PIDIENDO. -respondió la mujer con un tono elevado y agresivo.

- No tiene por qué tratarlo así, él no le contestó mal. -le dije a la mujer.

El chico mientras servía el helado, tenía las mejillas rojas y la mirada perdida en lo que hacía, sus ojos brillaban con lágrimas contenidas. Miré a la mujer enojada o quizá no tan enojada, más bien apenada. Ella recibió el helado con la mirada en el piso. Me quedé en la fila, recibimos el helado de mi prima, íbamos caminando cuándo la mujer se acercó a nosotras.

- No debí hablar así. -levanté las cejas (no puedo evitar demostrar mi molestia -sí, vi su mirada, vi sus mejillas y sus ojos, no estuvo bien. -la mujer suspiró- lo vi y pensé en mi sobrino, me arrepiento tanto ¿Debería volver a pedir disculpas?

- Sí, pero el mal rato que le causó fue suficiente como para que el se sienta inseguro, no olvidará esto, no saldrá de su cabeza en todo el día o días. Ahora que se dio cuenta, espero que no lo vuelva a hacer.

On December 30th we went to part of the Colonial zone with my cousin (she's really my cousin's ex wife but we've been through much together so she's family now) and her 2 grandchildren. First 3 pictures was in front of the Alcázar de Colon, Christopher Columbus's brother, Bartolomé Colon's palace. Please note that I would had taken a picture of the whole building but since I didn't take the picture, it just didn't happen. Pictured on the bottom to the left, buying ice cream from The heladero for the kids. Center in front of Christopher Columbus's statue at Plaza Colon. I chopped the top of his head. It was really tough to see with the sun. I was also paranoid about taking pictures with my cell phone as anyone can come by at any time and snatch the phone from my hand. I should had taken my camera. I hate to look like a tourist though. We took the last picture to send it to my son michael who loves Dennys. They have one. We don't have one in my town.
