Reminding myself I need to stay balanced, not make any big decisions or promises to anyone including myself, and let myself cry or feel angry or what as and when it comes up because that's how I am going to get through bereavement with the least amount of adverse long term issues I think. I can feel I am unbalanced and unsteady and this is going to be my new normal for another week before things stabilise a bit. It's okay to take time for myself to feel more normal because life isn't a performance it's a real thing that you don't get guaranteed and I cannot run myself into the ground on some bullshit justification not least because it will offer me little comfort when I'm at the bottom of a tar pit.
