"If a boy writes you a love poem, then he must love you a lot. If he writes you eighty love poems, then he loves writing love poems." But it doesn't have to be that way, does it? That fantastically invalidating concept because someone enjoys the act of loving that means it's no longer You he loves spectacularly but rather the act of loving itself. As if he loves you for no better reason then he can, rather than because of the way you light up when you see a dog. His love is invalid because he does so freely? When the reason he chose you is for quirks that you had that he couldn't help but admire. His love means less, because he had chosen to find things to love in so many before you. Fuck out of here with that.. This love may be a choice that started from him but it cannot come from nowhere. He tried pulling it out of himself for those who he felt needed it but couldn't find reasons beyond that to love them and it fell apart So Quickly. His love is not invalid for he has done it before. His love is practiced, his love is polished, his love is more careful, with every misstep and each mistake he learns he should not give his heart out as often or as carelessly and Still. Still, he chooses you. That boy who wrote eighty love poems for you may have done it for a hundred other people, but the fact is most likely he's gone through a hundred or so breakups before you and he still stood up, dusted himself off and rose to meet you that must make you pretty damn enticing. Pretty beautiful on the inside. Perhaps breathtaking on the outside. That boy can write you eight hundred love poems, so many you may get bored of reading them but how does it feel knowing every other romantic thought that spins around that head of his simply Has to have a center of You? Like Love, I'd wager.
