Stalactites/Stalagmites (2016, 217 Sculpture) falcon board, laser cutting, white glue
For this piece, the goal was to use the laser cutting processes and online image capturing processes to create a layered sculpture.
I was revisiting previous interest in stalactites/stalagmites, and this initially hanged upside-down. Standing upright is also just as interesting.
You know one of the best things of 123D Catch is you can watch 3D scans of someone's dog or cat sleeping on the couch.
