“Icing or fondant?” — ♡
A/N: Probably gonna make this a series-
————————
“…icing or fondant?” You sat up, giving a slight glare to the male beside you. “The stuff that goes on cake..?” He nodded in response, glancing over at you with the widest smile you’d ever seen.
“Uh..icing. Fondant tastes gross.” He nodded again, tilting his head to the side. “…so for tiers, I’m thinking 4.” “Oh my god.” You plopped your head back onto the pillow, turning away from him and forcibly shutting your eyes.
You knew he got a bit aggravating when drunk but this? This was an entire new level of annoying. As you finally started to settle down into the blanket, you felt an arm wrap around your torso.
“So, I’m thinking 4 because it was on the 4th date you and me became official.” Sighing heavily, you grabbed his hand to somewhat try and calm him. “What are you even talking about?”
He leaned closer to you, and you could tell he was definitely grinning like an idiot at this point. “A cake. A wedding cake.” You turned around to face him, blowing a piece of stray hair from your face. “And who’s wedding cake are you talking about?”
You said, looking at him. “Well hopefully ours..” He said, grabbing your hand and intertwining your fingers together. You breathed out a small laugh, “Oh really?”, you said softly smiling at him. He looked back at you and nodded. “I dunno, I’m sure you’ll get tired of all my antics soon.”
He slowly lifted your hand up, pressing a kiss against her palm. “I don’t think so.” You sighed, moving her hands to cover the red color that was starting to cover your face. “Your so annoying when your drunk…” He simply looked at you and smiled.
“Y/N, you truly are amazing..have I ever told you that?” You opened your mouth to reply and he quickly covered it with his hand. “…shhh…you look so pretty right now..” After what seemed like forever, he pulled you close to him, once again wrapping his arms around you.
You listened as he sleepily muttered into your hair, as you started drifting off yourself, before the sound of both of you sleeping filled the room.
