I’ve always had a thing for geometric stars. Quilts patterns, fair isle motifs, Christmas ornaments, candle holders. I’ve repainted this lawn ornament four times even though it’s getting chipped and flaked. When I stumbled across this clear quartz specimen, I was charmed. And now I know what it’s called! BEHOLD, THE STELLATED DODODECAHEDRON.
