for the drabble game - how about “lantern?”

Ed held the lantern in front of him as he dragged his boyfriend behind him.

“Ed…” Roy said sleepily. “Are you going to tell me why we’re in the middle of a field at ass o’clock in the morning?” Ed glanced back and noticed Roy rubbing an eye like a sleepy child.

“It's a surprise. I promise you’ll love it.” Ed ignored Roy’s groan and continued to drag him through the fields of Resembool.

Finally, they reached their destination. Ed extinguished the light in the lantern and placed it in the grass. He gave Roy a light jab in the ribs.

“Look up.”

“Hmm?”

All of the exhaustion disappeared from Roy's face as he gazed upon the unpolluted night sky. The various stars and colors were truly a sight to behold.

Drarry microfic: Good

Draco makes it past the Intruder Charm. Skips the step that triggers a Blasting Curse and slips through the double wards at the top stairs. Answers three security questions through the closed door.

“I wasn’t expecting you until next week,” Harry says, tugging Draco inside by his belt loops.

“Granger asked me to come.” Draco tilts his head towards the table laid out with an assortment of potions and magical devices—illegal, every one. “She had a hunch you might be planning one of your little disruptions when the American Minister for Magic arrives tomorrow.”

Harry makes an irritated hum against Draco’s neck. “Maybe I am. Why did she send you?”

“Because, Potter,” Draco murmurs, already at work on his shirt buttons, “she knows I’m the only one you’ll listen to when you need to be good.”

Black mirror seas 3 ep 1

This episode is about this lady who tried to build her ratings. She does everything she can to get to a five from where shes at. she’ll post picture and rate everyone 5 starts so they can rate her back. she later gets a phone call from her old friends, asking to go to her wedding. She takes the opportunity because everyone there is over 4.5 in their ratings. she goes to someone to help get her ratings up before the wedding but it takes a lot of time. when she gets to the airport they tell her shes going to miss her plane. she starts being rude and her rating goes down a lot. she then drives to the wedding in anger and breaks in. she starts reading a speech she everyone vote her  super bad and her rating goes down to a 1. she leaves and meats this lady who never gets ratings because she doesnt care because all she wants to do is live her life without care. this episode stressed me a lot, watch it.
