ok lets talk about the poster

THIS IS WHAT I WANTED!!!!! compared to last season this poster is very directly showcasing that this season is gonna have them actually going out and doing things in the world. season 1 was getting situated in the apartment and with each other, now season 2 seems to be expanding outside which is what I was hoping for!!!!!! ok. ok. let's like. look. we'll go in clone order

okay i'm not entirely sure what to make of him right now LMAO. he has bags under his eyes and he's gaming so there might be a bit where gabriel gets really into video games? lol? i don't know? not sure about the card clothes inclusion. also scary game creature it could be a joker reference but it honestly might just be a random video game mob

THIS IS WHAT I WAS HOPING FOR!!!!!!! ONE OF THE CLONES IS ACTUALLY GOING TO GO TO SCHOOL AND PRETEND TO BE FEDOR i didn't expect them to change his hair oh my god kuromaku. i'm excited to hopefully meet more human characters and see how kuromaku probably fumbles interacting with them

let's talk about the season 2 trailer (yay!)

this is mostly just gonna be me screaming at frames but before i do that some surface level details:

-no queens in the trailer stop HIDING THEM ALREADY WE GET IT

Something I noticed is that Waru only showed up 3 times in the trailer 2 shots in the sunset & 1 on the computer, assuming the above is from the same episode as when Felix punches Waru, the 1st one, you think it’s likely that Felix accidentally shatters Waru’s glasses & that is why he doesn’t show up much?

It could be why Joker is outside of the card world, it could very well be Waru hallucinating Joker.

I saw this theory and I've really been wondering if that could be the case. Though it doesn't come without its questions

I think it was definitely implied that the person Felix was punching is Waru. I mean. Who else would it be. and it was confirmed by Vanya or Fedor that Felix and Waru would have a "moment" together this season. The way that scene is framed definitely looks like he could be punching him directly in the face and that COULD break his glasses. I just don't know if they'd actually have that as a plotpoint??? Since the glasses are so iconic to Waru's character? Not that I'm against it, I'm just trying to figure out if the people behind the show would actually go that route

Joker is definitely talking to Waru, there's no doubt about that. I'm wondering if we're gonna start the season off with seeing Joker and Waru considering the episode is called "Waru's Day"

If they actually go the route of breaking his glasses I will be impressed and pleased

okay so obviously felix has the fedor horse

but

"romeo" joker specifically has the grumpy old grey horse. so what is that supposed to mean. hello. hi. hii. hey jokerr who do you know buddy

Do you have any hobbies headcanons for the clones and fedor?

Interesting question!

-I think Felix could get really into gardening. He'd like taking care of plants- He'd be the type to talk to his plants. He'd like growing flowers the most but he'd also enjoy growing veggies, makes him feel very accomplished.

-Kuromaku completes the daily Wordle every day. He likes to get himself apps or little challenges that he can do daily/get a streak going on, motivate him and do something that will also continuously stimulate and enrich his brain. I think he'd have one of those language learning apps. He wants to be able to speak as many languages as possible. He's probably starting with italian because of Fedor

-Brolly gets into sewing/knitting I think. He made those mittens for Kuromaku, I think he'd keep going and make more stuff. It's very soothing for him and he likes creating

-Waru would be a gamer, he video games. Fedor doesn't have many games so he has to make do with the few things Fedor has. He keeps trying to pirate things on his computer. Fedor has gotten several viruses. He doesn't believe Waru when he says it was an accident but it really was an accident he just wanted to download Goat Simulator

-Fedor really enjoys baking! But he's kind of embarrassed by it. You know, old internalized stigma of worrying that baking is more "girly." But he really likes exploring recipes and trying stuff. He hasn't had much time to do any baking nowadays with the clones around mostly because he's too embarrassed to do it in front of them (even though many would be eager for sweets). He's shy about it

-Dante, unbeknownst to most of the group, is a big fan of karaoke. Nobody excepts him to actually have a good voice but he has a Good voice. They hear him humming songs they don't know a lot. When he's forced to help the group clean and can't get away with lazing about, you'll hear him hum while he works. He gets really into karaoke and will roll with about any song you put on. He likes oldies the most though

-Gabriel likes photography. Likes to take pictures of things he finds interesting so he can look at them anytime. He likes to preserve things and he thinks taking pictures is very cool. He especially likes taking pictures of nature and animals

-Romeo actually likes reading novels. At first he wasn't that into it, too many words for his attention span, but he started finding some interesting books. He started with romance but slowly drifted into more general things. He's a little embarrassed to be seen reading because he doesn't want to look like a nerd like Kuromaku. Science fiction is his guilty pleasure

-Spade doesn't want to admit it to the others, but he's pretty into poetry. He thought it was stupid for awhile. But one day something in his mind clicked and he understood the artistic beauty of it. He has a little notepad he writes his own poems in, but he keeps crumpling them up or scratching them out because he doesn't like how they turn out. He secretly goes to watch poetry readings

Current hopes/fears/theories/wishes about any interactions/plot points/other things you have re: 13 Kapt/Cards season 2?

My Hopes:

-that joker will come back

-queens will be there (though i'm pretty sure they're confirmed)

-moments where the clones actually have to substitute for fedor

-more characters outside the clones, fedor, and the old lady

-make felix WORSE!

-more fedor content even if he's not that important

-more dante. also more gabriel. just more diamonds

-that emma won't be written obnoxiously

-style update/clone outfit redesign

-new intro song/new intro

-more episode unique style changes

-some follow-ups on whatever the hell is going on with Waru, Gabriel, and Joker AND MAYBE DANTE LISTEN I'M NOT CRAZY

-halloween episode. this will probably not happen

-drama :)

-that the queens will still be card entities in some capacity and maybe even have their own summoner. or at the very leas can just be summoned by fedor while not being his clones

-more LOK references

-porcupine. give spade a porcupine. give the clones a pet

My Fears:

-that the queens will just be normal humans, that's BORING

-criminart show doesn't get brought up again

-that the impact episode 7 had on waru won't be acknowledged

-that Fedor won't get fleshed out a little more and remain in the background. i know he's honestly more of a plot device but he is technically now his own character instead of just Real Fedor's insert, I want to see them develop some things with him

I don't know if I necessarily have theories, above is kind of just all my thoughts. But if season 2 is still going to take a formula like season with with the "clones do/get/make a (blank)" thing that does open a lot of doors to fun scenarios. like i said, clones get a pet. clones go to the beach, clones go to school, clones play dnd, clones get sick, etc. keep putting these guys in situations it's beneficial to their growth

what if waru did end up making a deal with joker but it was actually just to make it so that nobody could take waru's glasses off and this is why when they try to in that one recording it just multiplies the glasses. the only person who can take them off for real is waru

The video from the 13C tiktok this morning like actually has me thinking about Felix and Emma's dynamic. like. i was already aware that apparently they were friendly with each other but I hadn't thought about it really? nothing really for me to think about there? but this video got it going

like. i'd never Expect the two to like each other. Emma doesn't like a lot of the guys. and i thought Felix would find her too mean like the other spades. but then i realized. they like each other because they're both trying to fight for the world to be a better and peaceful place

they go about it different ways yeah but like. they both insist they know what's right, they know what's best, and they know they have to fight to get what they want. and they'll use violence if they have to. i can see Felix honestly looking up to her because of her confidence and how she so easily intimidates and continues fighting for what she believes in without ever getting torn down, without ever faltering. she wants a better world too

they definitely have some differing viewpoints and those would absolutely cause arguments but for the most part it's chill. i think Emma could respect his ability to keep smiling, to keep genuinely wanting happiness and smiles and to remain mostly unconditional in his care for the others (emphasis on mostly)

i like the concept of this friendship. Emma trying to encourage Felix to stop burying down his heavier emotions and let his feelings come out strong. drags him to have fun and do some things he shouldn't, teach him how to wrestle better. Felix tries to get her to be a little more respectful to the others and not immediately jump to anger, try to say nice things to the people she doesn't like, try and be fair and give people a chance like he does

very cute friendship. but also the drama would be SOOOOOO GOOD OOUUUHH
