Dr appt went well. Have to get bloods done, plus have referral for nuchal screening, and a script for some anti nausea meds.
Only thing I've come away needing to think about is whether I want to VBAC or not. I don't think I mentioned this in my birth story when Teddy was born - but he flipped sideways when they went to pull him out, and tore my uterus.
My GP lightly suggested that an elective c-section would be the better option because the hospital wouldn't have mentioned whether or not I could VBAC when I was in there if they thought there wouldn't be complications.
T wants me to just do another c-section because it's less risky than ending up with a uterine rupture, but idk what the stats are for the likelihood of a uterine rupture?
I was really hoping for a VBAC but now I'm just not sure what to do. I think I'm going to contact our calm birth teacher and my hypnobirthing friend and see what they say. And I guess I need to look into some stats for VBAC too 😕
