Join Japan Club in a discussion with Wellesley's very own Prof. James Kodera from the Religion Department, as well as two distinguished scholars and experts at the forefront of Japanese politics and economic studies at Harvard University. 

Wonder about what the hype about the new-but-not-so-new Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is all about? Why did the Economist dress him in a superman costume on the cover of their April issue earlier this year? What does winning the 2020 Olympics reveal about politics and national sentiment in Japan today? What can we learn from current issues in public policy in Japan as we ponder over the struggles of policymaking in this country? 

Come hear on all these questions and ask more of your own in our panel discussion in PNW 212 from 6:30-8:30 pm on the 13th of November, Wednesday. Sushi, yakisoba, and mochi will be served. Mingle with speakers, Wellesley staff and faculty, and students!
