There are no ifs or buts about it: Black Lives Matter. I drew the symbol as a promise to be a supporter for my whole life to support equality, to not turn a blind eye to black violence, and to not ignore the past. History is repeating itself and I will not stand by and let myself become complacent. The clouds represent freedom and my ancestors who are watching us. Story: I just finished watching the documentary "13th" on Netflix and it was incredibly heart wrenching, thorough and easy to understand in terms of America's black history. I always supported all lives mattering, but now that I have a much better understanding of this movement, im inspired to be more active and less prideful in my involvement. The final lines of "13th" hit me hard, as well as the ending song. I encourage everyone to watch it to better understand what's happening and why it's going on.
