Ogata’s sparing with money. Even many different house appliances such as rice cooker never come across a necessity but should an opportunity arise he might go his way to get one.
The snowflakes are as hard to catch as he recalls from the last year. He’s finally been able to locate one and of course it’s out of his reach. He’s standing over stepladder left by what he presumes was left by a worker, reaching towards the snowflake with his rifle for an extra length for his hand.
That’s when a ruckus suddenly interrupts him turning his attention.
