The Lord commissions 70 disciples to go ahead of him, preparing the way. He gives them clear guidance and prepares them for what they are certain to face as they speak his message and show his love: both acceptance and rejection. We, too, are called to be ‘preparers’ for the Lord in our workplaces, in our families, in our relationships.
