Okay story time about one of the sweetest things anyone has ever done for me: So one time I finally found the courage within me to tell this guy I was head over heels in love with him and had been for the past year. Long story short, he told me he’d kind of suspected it, but that he wasn’t interested in me. (I did more or less see that coming, but I really wanted to tell him in any case so I could move on). I cried quite a lot that day, and I don’t think I ever really talked to him again after that. HOWEVER, the next day when we had school one of my best friends came up to me with a plastic bag in their hand, hugged me and said “don’t worry, someday you’ll find a lovely guy who will like you back” and then handed me the bag and said “and in the mean time, this should help.See you in the break!” ,Inside the bag were 15 bars of chocolate. That was the moment I knew the friendship would last much longer than the crush.
