She’s always loved the vibrations of the city, that pulse for action and pulse of restlessness, but what repulsed her was the gravity the fluorescent malls & stores had on the young – the ones who had the energies for the world and its grandeur, they now draw themselves toward the soulless buildings filled with frowns and plastics that make no wiser person nor kinder heart, just greedier devices that plan for the next acquisition of temporary joy that once used to possess the spirit effortlessly now only a consequence of mindless, compulsive expenses.
