Hospital Clinical Rotation!

Today was our first hospital clinical. It was awesome. We discontinued an NG tube, administered IV meds, and I gave a Heparin shot and flushed my patients IV catheter. What makes me happy is that I know I’m where I’m supposed to be. I love all aspects of nursing. I love caring for people, preparing meds, teaching patients and family members, and working together with other health care professionals to ensure that everyone is properly cared for. This is the most expensive investment for myself but it will all be worth it. I love nursing school and I cannot wait to start my career as a nurse!
