It has never been a secret that I have straight hair until I sweat. Then, it turns into a curly mess. #memorylane is full of bittersweet memories. For one thing, that baby in that picture did not know that she was not supposed to read or understand English. To this day, if I go to a foreign country, I will turn the local TV on and within a couple of days understand what they are saying, even though I don't know the language. I'm no genius, anybody can do this. Why do you think it is easier to learn a language if you inmerse yourself in the culture? If you don't limit yourself, there is nothing stopping you from figuring it out. This girl had dreams, and for a while, she forgot.
