I really want to buy a #16 pool ball. There's a variant called baseball billiards that uses 21 numebred balls instead of 15.
I don't much care for the 17 through 21. They're kinda lazy if you ask me, just repeats of the 9 through 13. If the first 8 are solid, and the next 8 are striped, then the ones after 16 should be a third, distinct pattern, spotted or checkered or something, not just more stripes.
That's besides the point.
What I want is just the 16 by itself, but I can't find one anywhere. They sell baseball billiards expansions sets, but the cheapest I could find is $95 for the 16 through 21 (almost $16 per ball), but you don't get to pick the colors or fonts. The 4 and 12 are sometimes purple, sometimes pink. The 7 and 15 are sometimes maroon, sometimes, brown or beige or burgundy.
If I buy the expansion, there's no guarantee the new balls will match the ones I already own:
My set has serifs on all the numbers, but all the 16+ balls I could find online are sans-serif. There's no such thing as a 23 ball, so I wouldn't have to worry about it not matching my 7 and 15, but the 20 ball would probably not be the same shade of purple as my 4 and 12. Also, I don't know if the stripe thickness or number circle diameter are standardized, so even if the colors and fonts are perfect the new balls might still be the odd ones out. I want a 16 ball that matches the rest. Here's an approximation I threw together in clip studio
I don't even know how I would go about ordering something custom. Etsy maybe? I've been searching all week, but I still haven't found what I'm looking for.
