The Orbit - community website for final project at Humber College (16 Corners)
16 Corners is proud to launch our first music video, the debut single of singer/songwriter Luke Tyler. Titled 'The Cold', it's a terrific song and we were stoked to get the chance to work with Luke. Enjoy!
As promised, here's a gander at our latest video, a promo piece for UNICEF Australia's Day For Children, starring renowned children's author Morris Gleitzman. It's a day where Aussie school students are encouraged to raise money to give kids around the world their right to education. You can find out more at their official website.
And as always, you can find more of our work here.
A little teaser of an exciting animated project we've just finished for UNICEF. Watch this space for the video, to be posted in a matter of days...
What Is 16 Corners?
"You ask, What's in a name? I answer, Just about everything you do." Morris Mandel
Naming a company is a lot like naming a child. You want a name that’s cool and stands out from the crowd. It’s gotta sound good but be easy to contract. You start out with so many possibilities and grand ideas, but after a long, agonising process, you end up with a name that confuses your friends, angers your family, and guarantees playground taunts for at least a decade. Here at 16 Corners, we are a melding of things both diametrical and complementary, ‘twixt people for whom a name is a metaphorical statement, and those who just like funky things.
Today marks the official launch/beginning/birthing/genesis/high-fiving of 16 Corners, a new film, TV and video production company based in Sydney, Australia. We’re here to meet all your production needs, or at very least the ones that involve working in exotic beachside locations.
We’re complex, but not complicated. Organised, yet creative. We have many facets, so you'll be happy to know that we don’t just think outside the box, we make the box more interesting. And as everyone knows, dodecahedrons are damn sexy right now. If you want to know more about 16 Corners, check out the About page. I guess you could say that we make film, TV and video content “with an edge”. Well you could say that, but that’d be totally daggy.
