~My Dear I’ll Look Divine~
This is so sad, but I only just now finished Vanessa’s hair after getting her in November loooool She’d been sitting on a shelf for months with her curls still done, but I finally got the nerve to layer her hair and straighten it because I plan on getting the D23 version some day and I didn’t want the general release to look that similar to her. Well, I did plan on getting D23 Vanessa until her market value went up to fucking 800$ out of NOWHERE after stabilizing at 400 for over a year.
But.....anyway.
I’m really glad I went for the sleek middle part, she looks so wealthy. You can really tell she went in to sabotage Ariel’s dick appointment true love’s kiss. And! I dressed her! Ignore the lack of necklace, Disney doesn’t put clasps on their doll necklaces and I haven’t ordered the tooling to put one on her shell necklace yet. I probably should though, because I need a clasp for D23 Ariel too (who is still naked...lol)
She’s so cocky, like she knows she did that.

I’m the plastic tag still stuck to the top of her head. I’m so glad I stayed up til 3am to get her from Disney UK when she was released over there, because I’ve coveted a Vanessa doll since I was 4 years old and carrying my Princess Mermaid Ariel wherever I went (and hating her stupid thatched in bangs, because even at 4 I was that bitch with doll hair). Absolutely adore her. Even though I still wish they used the new hand sculpt for her instead of the old pancake one lol Here’s hoping we get a new 12′’ doll of her with this head sculpt in 2020 uwu
