There are days when I forget the power in my prayers. I forget the power and the authority my God carries that lives inside me. Those days my circumstances beat me up, and I feel like the end of an old, used broom. But every now and then, I muster up the mustard-seed faith I need. That little ounce of faith that says I will prevail. Then I persevere and push through whatever circumstance 一 in faith I find His light and grab it.

Today all I had was a single question on my heart. With the things that have happened, I silently questioned God if He was going to take away another person in my life again.

It was a question where I knew that all I had to do was trust.

But for the times where my prayers for healing went unanswered; for the times where my hope had withered, doubt unconsciously started to sip through the cracks of my heart.

Would nothing change no matter how hard I prayed? Would healing never come no matter how much it hurt? Did all my tears go unseen?

My answer to my own questions would be I don’t know.

I don’t know if things would change, I don’t know if healing will ever come even when a miracle is needed in this moment.

I don’t know.

But I do know that my prayers don’t go unheard, my tears don’t go unseen; and even if,

even if it doesn’t turn out alright

He will still be there.
